Dumb question about TPMS.
I just recently ordered/received my 18" Rogue wheels from TireRack to replace my stock V6. I'm under the assumption that I'll need to replace the sensors as well, is that correct? I'd love to just be able to take the sensors off my stock rims and put them on the new rims. Also, if I decide to go ahead and put the rims on for the time being, the car will still function properly, but I'll just get the tire pressure warning icon, right?
If I do have to purchase them, where did you purchase yours?

Yes, the sensors can be transferred to your new wheels. You`ll need new longer straps (think giant hose clamps) to go around your new larger wheels. Ford has them, pricey at 50+ each. You can shop for a better price. Or you can leave them in a a pressurized PVC tube in the trunk. Or you can just ignore the icon. The choice is yours.

American muscle has the strap kits. About $16-$17 per kit, 1 kit/wheel. The shop will have to transfer the sensors from your old wheels. I just had it done 2 weekends ago.
