Default Cervini Scoops Installed... Possible Problem... HELP!!!

So I installed these things this morning. Had them for a while now and just waiting for some higher temps. Well it's 77* and decided to install them. But I didn't check the forcast... OOPS... So I was watching TV and they said it might rain later...

Is this going to be a problem... The instructions said to let sit for 24 hours. But is that a real time or just a lets play it safe time?

well, you will probably be ok, but i might try to cover them up with a tarp or something. you definitely don't want water getting in there and compromising the integrity of the adhesive.

Get a ziplock bag or some kind of plastic and painters tape and tape it over the top of the scoop so the water runs off of it and not down behind it.

I really think you're fine....if you used the same stuff to install your scoops that came with mine?

They won't come off in a damn tornado!!! I wouldn't worry, you installed them in good temps. I bet you could take a waterhose to them and hang off of them, they aren't coming off!

congrats, btw........[&:] s ~

The 3M acrylic adhesive is waterproof and its fine from
the minute they are stuck on for water to get on them.
Unless you used Elmers glue to install them.

you ever tried to remove something stuck on with that3M stuff- it's like it's welded on. I wouldn't worry one bit if I were you.

Sounds good... The car looks so hot!! Not that it never did... I will get pics once the weather gets better, nothing is worse than washing a car and then it raining.
