shr louvers again, install q - help!
i posted the other day asking about shr louver install, and since then i've placed my order and talked to an auto glass shop. i think their price is good, but they also happened to mention to me that if i prep the interior by removing the plastic molding around the windows, that'll save them some time and me some money.
so, how do i go about doing this? does the seat need to be removed (it looks like the molding is all one piece pretty much)? or does the surrounding plastic pieces just pop out? anyone know?
thanks!

The seat back needs to be removed and the back folded down. There are several christmas tree fasteners that must be removed. The panels clip onto the frame with metal clips and some force is required to get them free. Make sure you disconect the defroster wires first. Shouldn't take more than 30 mins if you get the x-mas fasteners out quickly. You also have to pry up a little of the door sill where it says mustang since it overlaps the rear piece.

I would suggest checking around for another glass shop, the folks that did mine removed both side's in the matter of 10 min by running wire along the out side. I was amazed myself, but they knew what they were doing.
Best of luck !
