I was thinking of the Yokohama 255/45/18 ($190/apiece), but I have heard good things about the Kumho ASX and they are $134. That might be the way to go until I truly know what my driving will be like. Supercharger is at least a year away, so save the money now, maybe.

I expect my wheels in 10 days and then it's off to Discount Tire for the tires, so I have at least a week to decide.

Nittos are great tires but they don't last long. Get kuhmos if you want longevity.

you mean 255/45/17s right? unless my wheel grew.. haha.. but 45 are a little low.. 45/50?? but 255 is the max we can go front and back? or is the back rims a little bigger?

I bought the 18" rims, so I need bigger tires.

The 18" chrome bullits from ebay and OEM wholesale in Sarasota, FL. $708.60 includes shipping and 4 rims.

The link for the tires I am looking at is here: http://discounttire.com/dtcs/searchT...57&rd=18&ar=45

Greg, I am looking forward to seeing your new wheels! Hey, have you gone over to Costco see what they have - and pricing? Lifetime rotation and balancing there included with purchase.

I've got connections at goodyear, so will prob go that route. American made and used in NASCAR as well as TOP Fuel drags, must be doing something right.

BFG = French [:@]

Toyos, Had some, ruined my car. Think they were square.

Mickey's heard good things, but have never ran them

Dunlop, had some GT qualifiers, not impressed.

I will check out costco this weekend.

The wheels should look great. The CAI is on the way as well. SCT xcal has not been sent yet as they have not yet called to ask me about what tunes I would like. Mustangtuning.com is a little slow (3 days and counting for the awaited call).
