try living in a new neighborhood where homes are still being built....

first week - row of finishing nails (tire was not saveable) $75 for new tire that was prorated (two weeks to order)
second week - new tire gets a nail AND a row of staples [:@] $no cost cos they felt bad at Costo (in stock)
3rd month - wifes truck gets some cable guide wishbone looking thing stuck in it
6 month - my 3rd tire gets a friggin thorn from a tumble weed in it that is as hard as a nail!? Small leak, threw leak stopper in it...

9 months - Cross fingers...knock on wood, throw salt over shoulder, all is good.

Most of this stuff was picked up in the dusk or nightime hours when it's hardest to see this krap.

Well that's good! Road Hazard is only good if the tire is non repairable. Then you still pay a pro-rate charge. It's worth it on expensive tires or tires that don't have a mileage warranty. (my BFG KDW 235/45 R17s are about $155 a piece and do not come from BFG with any kind of 'mileage' warranty) but on stock tires you end up paying about the same.

Been there done that! It exibits much vaccuum.

Good thing there is a Discount Tire just a few miles down the road from the house. Yea, it got to be a pain in the *** having them repaired, but it was always free.

Have you ever seen a Mosquite tree thorn????

now those are dangerous.......it will puncture a tractor tire in some cases...My mother inlaw has the trees all over her Ranch south of San Antonio.

And a tractor with flat tires.......
You stay on the road down there!
