i raced a mach1 a couple of weeks ago and i had another person in my car and he nobody in his. he got me the first time but the second time i got him because i turn on the traction controll i beat him about a car length. my friend just wanted to how fast the new 05 was. my car was all stock and his had exhaust alum drive shaft and a predator it was fun

Mach 1's still OWN the 05s in overall coolness though.

The new 05 GT is as fast as the 03-04 Mach 1's. From slowest to fastest here is what Ford wants to do with their vehicles of the same generation. This obviously doesn't apply to an 05 (newer generation Mustang GT) and an 04 Mach 1 (older generation special edition).

I believe Derf was referring to factory models only.

 

I thought about putting them and Rousch in there but they are really a co-parnter/venture with Ford. Ford doesn't make the Saleen or Rousch components.

hmm...good point...but aren't they wholey owned by Ford and doesn't Ford sell SVT stuff in their catalogs as well as out of their parts departments? Not trying to be smart but pushing the limits ...
