Default Shorty Antenna

Is it worth to get the 14in antenna or the 8in? Is there a loss in reception, I would like to get the 8 but I hope it doesn't look silly.

8in:

14in:

Thanks!

I think my 8" is about the same as well. I don't use the radio a whole lot, but when i do it's pretty typical. I've had cars with it built into the rear window, that doesn't stand up at all, i'm not sure if the logic is surface area of exposed antenna but in my opinion, the stock are that tall because they need to cater to people that live in rural areas.

I have the 14" from americanmuscle with no reception issues and I DO use the radio frequently on long trips. The top of the 14"er is at or just below the roofline. I've HEARD some with the 8" report degraded reception.
