From recent experience with friends I will say that Cervinis quality is not what it used to be. Granted you might get lucky, but it seems that many of the hoods and such require a lot of additional prep time to make it fit correctly.

I Have had hoods from Cervinis and TF.The Cervini hood took a lot less prep than the Tf hood. The underside of the Tf was great but the top needed a lot of blocking and pin holes filled. Plus it was bowed on one side at mid fender. That could not be fixed.
The Cervini fit great but still had a few places that needed repaired. But overall not much prep.

We're getting screwed with these fiberglass hoods, it's not even funny... Don't care who makes them.
No fiberglass hood should be more than $300 because that's all they're worth, you have to put $500 in them for prep and paint!!
Best case scenario, you have $800 in it[8D].

My Cervini's hood too very little prep. Just blocking, primer, and paint. But this was purchased 2 years ago.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Cervinis. My whole kit fit perfect. The hood took absolutely no fabricating to get it to fit correctly. And Im not sure where you heard bad things about there customer service but they have been nothing but helpful to me. The only thing i have bad to say is that there prices are high. Since there in Jersey, I was able to pick up all 17 pieces of the kit in person and save on shipping. I def recommend there products.

Granted, I'm not much of a "bodygirl" myself, but the dude that did the work to my car in July 2007 said he was "really impressed" with the quality of the Cervini's products, and he was a bit older with severalyears bodywork experience. He was especially worried about the fit and finishing of the fiberglass hood......but after installation he said he thought Cervinis was the "best he had ever worked with".

I suppose nothing is quite like OEM equipment, but that's ok. I wanted my car a little different than the other GT's on the road. I was pretty happy with the way it turned out and would do it again tomorrow.

Hope that helps you some in your decisions.

Car looks hot S- and I have had no problems with Cervinis hood quality other than the extra prep to remove mold release on the urethane parts and the hood itself was great but I was charged more for the black paint and the prep and buffing involved after but it was worth it and matched perfectly....J
