Dealer story...
So I take my car to the dealer to have the e-brakefreezing problem fixed. I figure while I'm there I'll have them change my oil and rotate my tires. As well as fix a piece of weather stripping that was coming out around my drivers window.
First they say they are going to get everything done in one day. Great. I find rides to my classes and what not. They call me at 4. "Well, we didn't have enough time to fix your weather stripping because we need to take the whole headliner out to fix it. So you can leave it here, or bring it back another night."
I went off on him because I needed the car in the AM. He finally broke down and gave me a rental.
I go to pick my car up the next afternoon. My radar detector is sitting on my passenger seat. Its hardwired just to the right of the rear view. The wire is dangling from the corner of my dash above my head. So I fix that. Then, there is a nice scratch on the middle silver plastic piece of the steering wheel. To top everything off there is a scratch through the paint next to my door handle.
I know scratches happen. They managed to put two nice ones right where I look.
He's getting a phone call in the morning.
Am I rediculous for being pissed about this?

I always dread taking my rides into anyone for service. I shy away from dealers for sure and look for good people elsewhere, but, we need to take the bullet sometimes. Hope he does something to make you happy.
be angry, i would lol. thats ridiculous that a dealer would do that to a car, it should come back to you pristine, not having scratches on it. give em a piece of your mind, or at least negotiate something, thats not right at all
