First of all I forgot about most of the toys since I've only had my 05 GT for 3 weeks or so... Still in honeymoon stage with it.

I'll only list toys I have today:

1999 Triumph Sprint ST motorcycle - 120 HP - 435 lbs 10-11 second quarters
1977 Corvette - About 300 hp
1997 Polaris XCR Indy 600 - Triple 2 stroke Snowmobile I don't know the HP but it will lift the skiis off the ground ((wheelie)) up to about 70 MPH
1999 Yamaha PW80 - OK... it's my son's... but I drive it more than him!
1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee - my daily driver

By the way... I'm a single father... Can't imagine a wife letting me have all these toys! LOL

I always thought my '86 Mercury Capri 5.0, 5 speed is fast. I recall driving from San Diego to Las Vegas on Interstate 15 with the needle buried.......way past 85 on the speedometer.....

How long was your trip from San Diego to Vegas? If it was under 4 hours you were hauling butt. If between 4-4.5 hours then you were moving along well. 4.5 or more and your idea of fast needs rework.

As for the previous cars, I previously had a 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera.

Scott,

I had a 1984 Mustang GT that was gigged up pretty good at the time. I remember driving from Vegas - where I lived at the time - to San Diego. Ahem... Needle Buried!

The speedo actually broke that trip if memory serves correctly! [8D]

Well shoot......maybe it was around 5 hours........
been a while ago, early 90's.

Rework in process.........I do recall the sun setting on the return trip......right down 15, causing all the traffic to slow.....way down....

GW... I remember my trip from Vegas to San Diego took 3 1/2 hours or so. Left at 9:00 sunday morning in Vegas and had lunch at about 12:30 with a business associate.

I was a flyin. I have photos of that bad '84 GT... need to scan them soon.

The Capri had bald rear gatorbacks at the time.....do they still make those tires? The Capri now has Michelins. Fun to drive still today,
