idiot salesman
Today I went to Northside Ford, San Antonio, TX to take a look at the bullits. I like the clean lines and the overall package was pretty attractive.
Then I noticed they had a Shelby 500 in the showroom that was gray with black stipes. This thing looked AWESOME. Looking at the sales price ($45K) I took a deep breath and waved a salesman over. I asked him how much the car was and he responded that it was going for the sticker price. So, again I asked him "you areasking $45,000 for this car, are you sure" he responded that he was.
I started getting images of me in a Sherlby GT500 screaming down the freeway and I must admint I was seriously excited. I could almost taste it, it would be a dream come true. I thougth maybe I found an honest dealership that had the best interest of the customer in mind instead of bleeding every sucker for what he was worth.
The manager then came over and informed me there was a $20,000 mark up on that car. I shot the idiot salesman a look and he just walked away. What a JERK.......[:'(]

RE: idiot salesman
uuhh, by law he has to sell you that car for $45,000 if it wasn't on the sticker and the salesman quoted you that price.. It was a quoted price.. Now you may never be able to drive on the parking lot or have to get it serviced at another Ford dealership..

Intent to sell must be in writing... otherwise I could say you just offered to sell me your car for $17.24. There is no way you could prove that you didn't say that, right?
