Does anybody know how mant gt/cs mustangs they will build? I believe 2008 is the last year for them, but was just wondering.

 

Supposedly there were only 3,159 2007 models made. Don't know how many 08 models they'll make.

"I Just got off the phone with the general manager at my local ford dealership his source at Ford said that in 2007 there were only 3,159 California Specials made !!!!!!!!!!! That less than 1 per dealer there are over 4,000 dealers in the US."

interesting... I bet the number of convertibles is around 1000 or so for 07..
in doing the dealer locate for the one I bought I seen several but nothing near the number of regular gt premiums I encountered..

 

I just did a little investigating in fmcdealer and it appears they predict for 08 that 5% of mustangs will contain the gt/cs package. that obviously is just a prediction though and not an actual number. I couldn't verify the above information on the total numbers for 07 cal special production.

 

Way less than the HG Bullitts for 08!
