I took it out of storage. and the battery is not quite dead there is still some juice left. enough for the locks, lights and everything to work. but for some reason the car wonteven try to turn over. My car is Fu cked right now. the noises that are comming out of it are retarted. The guages are twitching, sounds like a horn sound comming from the trunk...WTF

should I try reloading my tune?

work your way from easiest fix to harder, first thing id do is put some jumper cables on it and give that bat a good charge, if ur needles are resetting ( going back and forth) as you turn the key its because as u turn the key all the power is temp. being used up and not powering the guages. Try a 3-5 minute charge and then try to start it

Sounds like you need a jump start. Don't bother trying one of those portable jump start kits. Call tripple A and have them do a jump from the truck. This happened to me with my 98 GT years ago. After the jump I just drove to work and the battery was charged.

 

I agree, I think all you need is a good battery charge/jump. My F150 had similar symptoms when the battery went completely dead (radio wouldn't shut off when truck was shut off) and the needles twitched all over the place on the gauges. I jumped it and it was like new again.

 

Ok so I called Ford Roadside Assistance and they sent a towtruck driver. He boosted it and before I could start my car he told me to type a code on my key fob. He said all that **** that was going on was my security system trying to go off while my battery was near dead. I am surprised the car had any juice left after 6 months of being in a snowbank.
