Nope the car isn't totaled. The only damage on the driver side is to the wheels.
The suspension took a big hit but the insurance company told me I could have it redone where ever I wanted since it was all aftermarket anyway.

Well some people can be real jerks. I got side swiped todday when a guy in a truck decided to swing into my lane. Got the stang pretty good. I'm lucky I was able to pull it back from the ten foot deep didge on the side of the road or I might not be typing this.
Sadly he didn't even ask if I was ok!!! When I asked for his insurnce info he told me I could get it from the accident report. He was ticketed for wreckles driving and improper lane change (Can't really remember I was pretty pissed at the time). However, the officer was cool and gave me all of his information after the guy left.
My mechanic has already looked at it. Appears it's going to need a new K-member, A-arms, and maybe some rear suspension Panhard and brace LCA's. It will also need four new wheels and tires!

You can't really tell it from the pictures but the rear tires arent centered anymore. At least the panhard and the LCA's maybe an axle[:@].
Front will have to get a new K-member, A-arms, and????? We just cant be sure till we get it on the lift.
On a good note the suspension parts were ordered yesterday! Should have the estimate in for the body work with the Adjuster today. They have the police report (which I supplied them) and should be able to move forward on fixing the car.

The sideswipe. Everyone that drives has almost done that to someone else at one point or another. But to act like a total dick when you do... That is why you are insured... Pay up and feel guilty for not being on top of the game.
I know that when I get in an accident with another vehicle my pride will be gone... But that doesn't mean I won't act like a man and give up my information. Just like I expect others to give me the same courtesy.
Just praise youself lucky he had insurance...

I received a call from the insurance company yesterday evening. They have already cut a check for the body work. They will be leaving the claim open as the car will be going to Strictly Performance for the suspension work after the body is done.
Spoke with the body shop manager and they will be putting on all new metal....no mud work (I know the owner of the dealership so that helped). Also going to be adding a Cervini ram air hood, front GT500 lip, and GT500 rear spoiler while they have the paint out!!
I'm just happy that it's finaly moving forward!
