These questions and other unfathomable mysteries can be found in your owners manual. (available online)
(or even the placard affixed to your drivers side door jamb)

I run 35 psi in ours. We are fat people and I think the added psi cuts down on rolling resistance, helping with the 27 mpg.

I typically use about 4 lbs. over what the placard in the driver's door jam states, then adjust to suit my driving style. Over the years I've experimented a lot with tire pressure and find that I'M comfortable at 4-6 lbs. over the placard value. It also is dependent on the make and model of the tire. I'm currently running 35 psi at 60 degrees F ambient temperature.

Remember, for every 10 degrees ambient temperature change you'll see roughly a 1 psi change in tire pressure. So if you set your pressure at 30 psiat 40 degrees ambientit'll be about 35 psi at 90 degrees ambient.Nitrogen won't vary as much but I'm not a believer in all the other hype about it.

The TPMS on these cars does not give you tire pressure like on other vehicles. It'll only alert you of a low pressure condition. I'm not even sure what it's set at and the MANUAL isn't handy at the moment.

Just better air retension, and less if any variations in psi in colder/warmer temps.
