Default RE: Recommended tire size for 18x9?

It's not officially recommended in either the 235/55-17 or 235/50-18 sizes, at least not as far as my investigation went (6.5" - 8.5" is typical). But since there's less adverse effects such as sidewall flexing going on by being half an inch out of spec above the high end of the range than if you're half an inch below spec on the low side it'll probably work OK. There won't be much protection of the rims by tire bulge left, though, and you might consider adding one extra psi of inflation to flatten the center of the tread out a little better for more even treadwear.

My thumbnail car runs tires on wheels that are half an inch above max recommended for that size (225/60's on 8.5" vs 8.0" high end of range). An unexpected benefit of the (overly) wide wheel mounting is that the rear end of the caris much more stable in the event of loss of pressure in arear tire for any reason. BTDT, as they say.

Late edit - 235's on 9" will have about the same amount of sidewall bulge as the 255/45's on 9.5" wheels found up front on the GT500.

I'd say they do have good pricing. I want you and everybody to do something for me. I sell brand name tires from Toyo, Nitto, Goodyear, Nexen, General, BFGoodrich, Pirelli, etc.. If I don't have it I can get it for you. I just don't have the brand name tires. I got the lowest prices. I'd hate for you to pay to much.

Another thing is wheel and tire packages. If you need a wheel and tire package. Just let me know and you will pay the lowest price.
Just let me know what you want. Hit me up by PM, email sales@cruizinconcepts.com or call 888-630-0655 and ask for Mike.
