QUICK!!! RED TOP and YELLOW TOP
What is the difference between these two batteries? The reason I need to know is because my stock battery doesn't have enough juice to keep my HIDs running, well it's compilcated. I have to turn the lights on. Start the car go into reverse. Put in drive. HIDs flicker. Turn car off and HIDs off. Turn HIDs on, turn car on. Put in Drive and see if they will actually stay on and not strobe. Repeat as necessary!!!![:@]
That is what I have to go threw for my lights. I have to much electornics I think I dunno. But I was wondering if a yellow top or red top battery would fix it and which is better for my needs. Are they alot heavier too? Can someone help me out quick cause I need to know soon. Thanks!!

Yeah they are hooked up correct and everything. And they run fine after I start the car a couple times with turning the lights on first. They are just not getting enough juice. I have gauges, stereo, alarm, HIDs, phone chargers, etc. etc. they are all takin juice.

I heard that the yellow is for the stereo, alarm and that stuff. So what is the red one for, if that is the one i should get? I dunno they are expensive and I just want to get the right one the first time.

RE: QUICK!!! RED TOP and YELLOW TOP
Red one does help with a lot of electronics but it is still a normal battery. The yellow top is a deep cycle battery and meant for extreme electrical uses (read: winch, car stereos where the entire car is speakers, etc).
I'd go with the red top personally.

I went with the red top. It is my understanding, that the yellow is for parking with your tunes kickin, and engine off, for extened periods. Thered is for more cranking power, etc.......

There is no disadvantage for using the yellow top actually I highly reccomend that you do use it over a red top. A yellow can be discharged all the way and brought back up to full. They are constantly used for any vehicle with a system in it and well theres one with it. Yellow over red. You don't need more damn cranking power. You need more reserve which is what yellow top has.
edit: I am almost certain changing the battery wont fix the flickering. You have a problem with the lights.

Im pretty sure they are just not getting enough volts because of everything I am running because they run fine when the car is off and when I am not in drive the first few times. But when I finally get them juiced up they stay on just fine.
