Hey guys,

Tomorrow I'll be getting an 08 mustang GT premium for 23.5k at the dealership w/ ambient lighting 3.55 lsd and siruis. I thought it was a pretty damn good deal. It comes with everything but stripes down the center.

I dont know if I want to go with white stripes, red, or silver, or if I even want it on there at all.

Does anybody have a place or website that sells a good racing stripe kit, or does everybody get it painted on? Thanks.

going from a New Edge to a S197 is amazing. You will love it in every way!!! I am not a big fan of stripes, i actually took my side ones off with a hair dryer.

Congrats on the new car. If you are going to do stripes i would say get them painted on. IMO i would leave it without stripes. What color you getting? Whats making you get rid of ur new edge to come over to our side? haha

 

I still have to see one in person with stripes to decide If I want to put them on or not. I cant make up my mind yet

For now I just want a front lip, spoiler, tuner, short shifter, springs, intake and exhaust. I'll be happy with that, maybe some spray but I'm not going to go crazy like my last car.
I'm just always in for a change and 3 years with this car is enough for me.

 

Get the stripes... I went with BSM (Baltimore Street Mods).

stay away from ford factory stripes if you want the stripes to end a little bit before hood stops and the other side maybe an inch off the top of the trunk.

Stripes are awesome!!

Very rarely see another Mustang around me with ANY mods on it.

Edit....Oh and I forgot, that sounds like a great deal!!!
