Go for the stripes. I had mine done about a month ago. Everyone stops and looks. I would say maybe you should start with vinyl if you are unsure if you really want them or not. That way if you really don't like them they can come back off pretty easy. If you like them and really want to keep them, then go to paint. Either way you'll end up keeping them. It will change your whole car. My vote is for bumper to bumper with the stripes and I agreed say away from factory Ford stripes. I had mine done in vinyl, but I have a great vinyl guy. As far as the side stripes, if you have them, it can go either way. My car had factory side stripes when I put the racing stirpes on so I left them on and they looked pretty good. I recently had a small fender bender and had to have the rear of my car fixed and they had to take the side stripes off to repaint. I had them left off and replaced them with new that my vinyl guy mached up in his shop. I get the car back in the morning so I'll get to see if it paid off, it will I'm sure. But really you'll like the stripes once you do it.

That is an insanely good price your paying for a brand new GT premium with everything. Are you sure its not a V6??

That price isn't unreall, i was a sales rep for Ford up untill recently, i got my car 06 GT premium with every option but navigation for just over 20k. And the way sales are going right now if your looking into getting a new ride, the best day to do it is the last day of the month. Dealerships have to try and make there #'s for the month and will just give cars away.I cant remember how many car deals i did where we lost tons of money. I do remember the last one was an 08 F-250 that we lost a little under 6k total on the deal just to try and hit our goal...

Deal Didn't go through as planned. They tacked on another 250 and didn't even have the car ready for me today so I had to prove a point and said screw them.. now they wanted to play bait and switch for a car with no 3.55 rearend or interior upgrade but came with HIDs for 23.750...

But its all good, ford just added another 1000 in incentives today for my area and my neighbor is giving me an X plan PIN. there only going to get cheaper because the market is taking a dump right now.

oh and it was a black on black 5 speed manual GT.

go with stripes...I think it finishes the car, but each to their own tastes.
