Default Questions about adding a supercharger...

I have a stock 07 GT, and I want to add a supercharger and new exhaust system. Been looking at the Kenne Bell, the Roush, and Procharger...still don't know what i'm gonna get, and i've also checked out the Bassani catted X-pipe and axle back and also the JBA axle back.

Now i know by adding all of that, i'm probably gonna have to upgrade other parts of the car. Now, im not really gonna be racing much, i just know i want a faster car. I've got some good money to spend after being in Iraq for 8 months. I just wanna hear some opinions on what i NEED to do if i add the supercharger and exhaust.

Of those S/C's I'd recommend the KB first. For the exhaust, you need to hear them and then decide. Try to look at as many exhaust videos as you can. You really don't NEED to add anything else to your car but LCA's would sure help.

Is your stang a manual or auto? If auto I would recommend a TC upgrade and deep oil pan for the tranny. Rims/tire upgrades to get some more rubber in the back would be helpful. Also look into rear suspension wit LCA's and etc. Possibly look into some gears too.

yeah the mustang is designed to be a 500 hp car because it shares parts with the GT500 so much. The RoushCarger is actually proven to provide the most real world speed, even if it doesn't provide the most power in the peak numbers.

I know, right? He's probably going to reference that stock Roush vs stock Saleen video that was floating about here a while back..

Let's face it.. If you buy a car without a SC, and ADD a SC, do you really think you're going to leave it stock?? Mine wasn't stock from the moment it was installed. LOL

I have a manual trans. I've been reading on the Steeda Tri-ax and the MGW short throws. Yeah, i dont wanna leave it stock. I can't lie, i dont know much about cars and mods, im a rookie at this. I just know that once you change one thing with your car, almost everything is gonna be affected. I actually counted on some of the things you guys have mentioned though, but im actually shocked that no one said anything aboutupgrading thebrake system. I guess i have some more learnin' to do.
