Default Rock chip

Finally happened. Got passed on a four lane in traffic that was gridlocked but moving. I hear a loud whack on the drivers side. Knew something had hit me but wanted to believe it wasn't anything bad. First stop I got out to look. A rock had hit me in the drivers side door dead center and chipped the paint down to the primer. Went to the local stealership parts department for some touch-up paint. Got one of those Ford paint pens. Haven't used it yet. Any tricks to using one of these for best results? Any bad experiences with them or other recommendations?

the pen/ford touch up stuff isn't exactly perfect... but it should help make things a little less noticeable. Gotta remember too... your finish isn't glossy in that specific location anymore, and the touch-up paint would provided much protection unless you really take car of it.
