Default Turn off TCS?

Is there anyway to have the TCS off unless I turn it on? It seems as though th defualt is on, if I turn it off then turn the car off the next time I get in and turn the car on it is on again. Sometime I like to let the car go and let lose and the TCS limits that.

No way to turn it off by default AFAIK. You're just going to have to remember to switch it off if you plan on driving hard.

I believe there is an option using the tuners to turn it off. I have a Bama tune and it's still on. I just switch it off when I'm ready to get on it.

Hey Riptide, what does the car if you drive it hard with it on?

Eh? Your question doesn't make sense to me. By driving it hard I mean doing quick starts with it where you want more control. Or burnouts.

We should all learn to drive without the training wheels. Turn the TCS off unless you're in traffic in sucky weather. I've yet to put my SUV into 4WD this winter despite the snow and ice. Use it when you feel you need it.

I had asked Brenspeed about doing it and they said you can turn it off in a tune... I have that stupid little information system thing that shows system errors and low tire pressure messages and stuff like that... They said if they turn it off in a tune, everytime I get in my car it will flash an error message about TCS and I'll have to hit the reset button to clear the error so I may as well just hit the TCS button instead...
