Usually when I REALLY want something and say screw it, i end up regretting it and always thinking back. Older cars are always harder to find.

Hard to understand though, the s197 is the car of my dreams and wouldn't trade it for anything.

 

if your gonna go to an older body style do so by gettin a nice 03-04 Termi vert u like it a lot better the saleen

 

I had an 02 saleen and I hope you have decent roads around where you live or your organs may hurt. I had my saleen for a little over 2 years. I will say that it handled amazing and hands down blows the s197 out of the water in the looks department. I tend to like the new edge body style better, but not so much the interior quality...not that my 08 is too much better.

 

Your car looks awesome, I wouldn't trade it in for a used car since you can never be sure what the previous owner(s) did to it. If you really want a Saleen, get a new one.

If I were you, I'd keep your S197....but ya gotta do what makes you happy of course.

 

I say keep the S197. But it really all comes down to personal choice and preference!

 

Please keep your car. You've already put money into it, it looks badass and is most likely almost as fast if not as fast as the Saleen you're wanting.

Your car looks soo good that id never trade it. I can understand what you are saying about the saleenname though. I would love to own one someday butonly if it were a fox or a S197 bodystyle. I never did think the 1994-2004 stangs looked good otherwise id lready have one.

i dont know if this might change peoples perspectives on their opinion but my 06 is an AUTOMATIC! i really want a manual i see a tranny swap in the future!
