CAI, Tune, UDPs, CMCV Deletes possibly, O/R Pipe. I think that's more or less the sum of the $200 or under modifications, excluding the CAI & Tune combo. Nitrious, Forced Induction, Stroker, Cams, P&P Headwork, Long tube headers all of that is in the $1000+ range (Not sure about nitrious)

Figure out what your intentions are for the car before you go modifying it though. If you want to Supercharge it, you can't use most aftermarket CAIs, Saleen being the exclusion to that theory. You also can't use the UDPs, and most Superchargers I think come with their version of CMCV Deletes... So it's up to you.

1 pc Driveshaft maybe? Though $500-$1000.

The biggest bang-for-the-buck is the CAI & tune. The combo will net you in the neighborhood of 15-25, perhaps a bit more. Just the CAI and you'll only see about 3-5 HP. Gears will definately make your car quicker but at a minimal cost in fuel if you tend to cruise highway. UDP and CMV deletes may net you about 5 HP each. Since you mention "affordable", I won't even mention aspirating.

Try the search feature. There are quite a few threads that list the various mods and their HP potential.

I agree. Cold air intake and SCT tune is money well spent.

A ZEX nitrous kit is $640 from Summit.

UDPs and CMCVs will net about 8 rwhp each, a total of 16 rwhp, from what I've seen.

PLStang, you've used the kit I'm assuming? I'm really tossing around the idea of getting it. What's your opinion of the kit? What else do I need?
