Im wanting to add a lot... well not "a lot" but a few HP without spending everything....

I was thinking buying one of the CAI that come with the hand held tuner?, gears and then save for the shaker hood system... (kinda scared to cut a whole in my hood)

That should add 25HP+ right? The CAI says 13-15HP gain, gears would add a few right...?

Not sure how much the shaker adds though, anyone know?

Get a s/c. I should have saved my jack in the first place and did it first. JMO of course.

Gears don't add horsepower.

Use the search button, it's your friend.

+1 on FI.

Xcal2 from www.VMPTuning.com and a C&L intake with a 88mm maf tube. I'm putting down 290 rwhp and 311 rwtq with just those two mods and SLP LMs. The SLP LMs definitely aren't getting me anymore HP though since it's just a muffler delete. Both of those items can be installed in about roughly 30 minutes with a screwdriver, ratchet, and a 10mm socket.

Another good mod is UDPs, they're $200, and pretty simple to install. I can feel a difference and don't notice a difference with my A/C, steering, etc but I do notice a little increase in power. Once I get on the dyno I'll report back with exactly how much HP they got me. I'm willing to bet about 7-8 rwhp.

The shaker hood doesnt add any horsepower or minimal at that, so unless you just want the look than its a waste IMO, Taco Bill said in his install he didnt see much gains if any...
