Default HELP PLEASE!!!

Ok, so I accidently left my car in the garage with the key in the on position. Now the car is freaking out. It's throwing loads of errors and sometime it will act like the key is in when its not. The throttle body is making this loud clicking noise. It also sounds like the alarm is trying to go off but it's struggling. How can I fix this, can I just reset the battery? I'm kinda panicking and would appreciate any advice.

Did you try to charge the battery or jump it?

I swear someone had the exact same post about a week ago and they had drained the battery so the anti-theft was going crazy.

jump the car, take it out for a nice long ride at highway speeds for over an hour to really charge the battery

It's not just the anti theft system though. It's almost like every system in the car is going crazy. Could I really have done any damage?

Highly doubtful you did damage...like burnsy said....just jump it and take it out for a nice long drive to charge the battery.

Ok, I was just really worried that's all. I found it odd that things like the throttle body would go screwy. I'll try giving it a jump in the morning when my neighbors up since I don't have a charger. Until then I'll leave the fuse box disconnected because my car wants to do stuff even with the key out. I'm also annoyed because when I heard the throttle body go haywire I quickly disconnected it and broke the little hold in clip. Now it's taped in real tight so I can take it to the dealership for a replacement, which of course I will be charged for since it's my fault. Damn... I hate when I panic. I do things to quickly and make it worse.

My truck did that too when I had a bad relay or something and the radio wouldn't shut off (even withtruck off). There were clicking noises coming from it from all over the place

A jump and 20 minute drive cleared up the clicking (followed by a radio fix).
