Then just leave it in first...I almost never use my parking brake...It won't go anywhere
+1

My hand brake tends to freeze in the winter, so I just leave it in first.
Yea my froze up on me last winter and it wouldn't unfreeze. I drove it up the street to a shop and the back right wheel was barely turning and you could smell that burning so from now on unless I'm parkedon a mountain I never use the thing.

I am assuming he means to leave it in gear so it won't roll off and don't set your parking brake unless you park on a steep incline.

He's got a P boys.

+1.. dont see not P anywhere
According to his photo gallery he has an automatic and not a manual. Therefore I recommended he place it in "Park". He does have a "P"

Don`t be quite "sure" yet. As others have mentioned, the rotors are bare cast iron (they rust)
the pads (semi-metallic) have bits of sintered metal imbedded in them, the pads always touch the rotors and they can ( when parked for a week in winter) tend to stick together. keep an eye (or ear) on it. But, it`s probably NOT AN ISSUE. JMO

Damn the warranty! FULL SPEED AHEAD!!!

Yeah, the stock rotors get a thin coating of rust right after I wash it. It suprises me how quickly that happens, too. The occasional binding thing seems to be a normal occurrence for those of us that park the Stang.
