Hi guys,
So I bought my Mustang used. It was leased for a year before I got it. I think it was completely stock. Then it sat at the dealer for a few months and somewhere along the line pin stripes were added and also a spoiler and then racing stripes. I have flip flopped back and forth as to whether I like the pin stripes or not. I've had a few people tell me they loved them and I would be crazy to get rid of them. Is it just a peer pressure thing? I haven't seen any mustangs with pin stripes. Here is a picture, let me know what you think. Remember I'm talking about the pin stripes, not the racing stripes.

P.S. I forgot to mention, the pin stripes are painted on.

I like the pinstripes, and if it were mine, I would look for a good paint shop to maybe add some detail around the racing stripes to match the pinstripes. But ultimately, it's not my car. If you like it, then thats all that matters.

I think I like them. It adds to the retro thing. Are they stick on or painted?

Painted, that is where the taking them off gets scary. I'm in the "I like them mode" right now, so hopefully that will last a while.

Well, I've been told about the EZ off oven cleaner trick, kinda scared to try though

Dont really care for it personally but my dad wanted me to add the same thing to my car. lol. I guess its just a matter if you like them or not. If youre up in the air about it then I wouldnt mess with it because it will either be a PITA to get off or PITW (pain in the wallet).
