my car seemed pretty quick when i bought it and then after 658 miles i got a check engine lite!!! took it to the dealer and had it checked!! here is what the work order says!! fault code p0171 in systemperformed ECC TEST AND DRIVEABILITY TEST-KOEO, RETRIEVED FAULT CODE P0171, BANK 1 SENSOR ,LEAN FAULT, MONITERED SENSORS, FAULT IS NOT ACTIVE, RAN OASIS, NO BULLETINS IN SYSTEM, CLEARED FAULTS AND TEST DROVE VEHICLE!! the car nevered seemed to be as quick as it once was before. is there something else can be wrong?

 

Any modifications? I had this code when I was running an bad tune for my setup. Check all the hoses on the intake.

What was the code people were throwing when the fuel cap needed to be tightened?

 

they ask me if i ran the fuel in the tank low!! they said about gas cap and it was o.k. too!!! there was 1/2 tank of gas in it!!! it's just never been the same since. oh well i probably am getting it supercharged anyway!!!

Adaptive learning reset by removing the negative nattery cable for 20 min or so.

Gas pedal reset is turning the key on, wait until the dash icons go out, press the
pedal all the way to the floor and then release it. Turn key off.
