Default Stang is wounded! Need help...

Leaving the gym this morning, I was walking to my car to get on with my day. My car was in sight, and I watch a black suv pull up next to my car and park. No big deal right? Wrong. As I'm walking closer, I hear a loud thunk and then the start of an engine. Thats when I start picking up the pace.

The jerk put a decent sized dent right in my passenger door, right along the upper body line. And not only that, but he took off and didn't even have the courtesy to make it right and deal with his mistake. People like that make me sick.

Well yea- on to my question. Is this something a dealership will fix under warranty, or am I now in the hunt to find a body shop to fix my baby? Also, does anyone know of a good body shop in South Jersey that does reputable work at a good price?

thats not warranty work. You need to find a body shop, as for south jersey I can't help you there

EDIT: I'm sorry about the injury too man, I know how much it hurts. Someone backed into myback bumper3 days after I got it in a parking lot. Three months later someone scuffed my front. Lesson learned, car only goes in garage or parks near NO ONE lol

Where in South Jersey are you?

I have had good luck with Lamon's Auto Body, 289 Rancocas Road in Mt Holly.
I also hear Holman Ford (Rt 73, Mt. Laurel) has a good shop also, but I have not used them.

Definately not warranted. May not even be worth trying to get your insurance to cover it if it means your premiums go up.

How big is the dent. Is it something Dent Docter could fix?

dcottrell6- Im in Berlin, so Mount Holly isn't too bad of a hike for me.

TraceDaddy- I thought about something like dent doctor, but the problem is where the dent is on the door panel. Its right where the upper body line is by the mirror, so its not simply a dent- theres the bent in crease as well.

The dent is roughly the size of a half dollar (maybe a bit bigger)- any clue on how much something like that would cost me?

If Dent Doctor can't fix it, then the PROPER repair is to re-skin the door.

Never had this done on my 'stang, but on my DD it was ~$900 all inclusive.
