Default Finally put in dual 12" sub box

Well at work today, I got a custom made box for my mustang. It fits in the very rear of the trunk opening touching the rear seats. Fits good. But omg what a pita to get in. I had to take the carpet out, spare tire out, jack out, and plastic molding out. That dam box did not want to go in. Took me an hour to get it in. Just by angling it and pushing hard. I ended up breaking the corner of the box so I will have to put a screw in it to fix it, it just broke on the outside not the inside of the box. I'll take a pic of it, if anyone wants to see how it fits.

Congrats.... I did the same thing around Christmas. What a PITA!!!!!!! I had to do everything that you did as well, but I got blood everywhere when I took a corner of my hand off (not literatly). I've put 1600 watts to one 12" Alphasonik mayham.. DAYUM!!! forget trying to get all the rattles out.. just trying to keep the back window in. What's funny is, when the bass starts hitting hard, you can see the steering wheel shake up and down and the headliner shaking about an inch or two. I built the box myself tuned to about 43Hz with two 4" round ports.

I love it when I go to Starbucks or to my brother-in-laws studio and when I crank it, you can see their windows shaking.. he, he, he... I'll get on video and show you....

congrats on yours subs. Just be nice with them. I hate it when people do ^. Just so irresponsible..... Why would you go to a peaceful place and bother others? I have 2 13w7s in the rsx and i always have the courtesy to turn it down when im about to pull up somewhere or even at a red light. I love bass, but do you have any idea how annoying it is to others when they are not in the same car, but are in other cars/buildings?

I agree that it can be annoying, but its still fun to pull up and make people around you roll up their windows lol. Or drive around parking lots setting off peoples alarms.
