I had that noise on my '06 GT. It only happened when I turned left. At first, my dad and I thought I was something to do with the steering pump, but when I took it to the dealership they said it was something to do with the rear end. They saw that there was a service bulletin from Ford about it and everything was fixed under warranty. No more noise.

Just take it to the dealer, it's under warranty. And no mine doesn't do it.

I had it, and the dealership changed the clutch packs, however, mine has still not gone away. Does anyone know of another problem that could be causing this?

My friends sometimes hear it but I'm half deaf anyways from too many IED blasts... so unless its really loud I'll probably never know....

Sounds like the TSB for the rear end noise. I have an 07and had the TSB done, but it's doing it again. This time I don't think I'm going to even bother taking it back

To the OP, I just had my Clutch packs replaced this week at Syosset Ford. Take your car into a parking lot and do some low speed turns.... do you notice any binding, or chatter from the rear end, and an annoying sort of gear whine? If so, then its probably the clutch packs.

I have an 06 and the TSB covered my car. Replaced under warranty even with the 3.73's.
