Mine has the spots too, I didn't notice them till I had the car for just over a year!
I thought about trying to get it fixed under warantee but then I thought I may be getting just a bit too **** to ask for that one....................

Funny... today driving I looked down at my emblem. Yups, speckles! I dont care though. When I got home I put my Brenspeed steering wheel logo on. Everything is solved.

I never bothered to look before, but yeah, I have them too.
Dosen't bother me though.
P-51, nice pics and a great looking car, just overpriced in my opinion.

Does anyone know where you can buy another steering wheel emblem besides straight from Ford?
Once I get my flat black stripes, I'm going to take all the emblems and have them painted to match my color scheme. Which is going to be the two outer stripes black and the one in the middle flat black or charcoal.
Want to experiment first before I decide on anything. Any help would be nice!

The emblem is non replacable by itself according to Fords standards.
Its almost $2000 or something out of this world retail for the air-bag.
Theives just love to steal them just for that reason.
