$425 does seem steep to me as well but it should definitely be cheaper than that even if you had the dealer do the stripes! JMO but call local shops that do tint to see if they will do this as well! Later J

 

Well thats kinda the thing. I dont really want to spend too much on this cause I have other mods that I really wanna get done but, now that I think about it, I think I'd rather go with having them painted on. The shop that I had went to to get rally stripes painted on my 94 Camaro charged me $400 just for the hood and trunk. It would have been an extra 200 for the roof but, I opted not to so I can keep the classic Camaro stripe lookthe thing was they said it would be about a grand to I think sand it off and addclearcoatso you wouldnt be able to feel the stripes. It doesnt bother me but, I'm sure it would be a cleaner look...

 

wait was it 425 for install and the stripes or just install?

im getting mine on the 5th of next month for 400, thats including the stripes.

 

I'm pretty surethe 425 was just for the install.....So it would have been a little more than 600 for it ALL together LOL....[:@]

 

wow way too high then. shop around for a local shop, all of mine pretty much gave me the same estimate of 400-500 (including the cost of stripes).
