Don't know if mine is on the recall list or now. Can you check on the Ford site in some hidden darkened corner?

This reprogramming, is it a complete reflash or only an isolated module? Please don't say they will affect themotor tune profile [&:]

ORIGINAL: 157db

Still fricken waiting for my recall letter.
My dealer called me to let me know mine was included in the recall. I checked the VIN and sure enough he was right. I took it and they replaced the RCM in 25 minutes.

You do a VIN check and take it in if your number shows up.

I recieved my letter yesterday, 03-22-08. I have an 06 GT. Weird recall. And why would it only affect"5th percentile females" with the seat fully forward and not wearing seat belts? Sheesh. When they reprogram the restraint module is that done through the OBD? I have a custom tune that I don't want disturbed.

I'm 99.9 [recurring] percent sure this won't affect our tunes. But let's wait for that definitive answer from one of the lurkers who knows 100%

Took my stang yesterday..it actually took less than 20 mins to get it done. The guy at the dealer asked me if I has a copy of the letter and I said no, that I had punched in the VIN on line and it showed. he then proceeded to punch in the VIN in his computer and it showed my stang as being part of the recall....therefore problem fix. Bottomline: You dont have to wait for the letter to come in to take in your stang.
