I want to make sure I get a loop that will work with the MGW. I've read people had to alter certain brands to make them work with it. Thanks!

 

Look up TacoBill. He had in one of his writeups about installing a driveshaft loop with his MGW.

Yes, but if memory serves, it was because he was lowered, not because of the MGW. Also, I think the "mod" was to add washers to shim it out some, no? Sounds easy enough.. LOL

 

Hey Jay, do you have an aluminum driveshaft? I had a 1/4" plate added to the loop arm at the base, this helped push it back an gave me more clearance for the shifter. I'm not sure how this would work with a 2 pc driveshaft. I have the PowerHouse 4.00 aluminum driveshaft if I were to purchase another one I believe a 3.5 would work better. I've had zero problems with the shifter or driveshaft loops.

 

Not yet. I was planning on getting a loop the same time I bought a driveshaft.
