Traction Control
my car should have come with traction control. But the button spot is blank, just a blank piece of plastic. So i am assuming i DO NOT have traction control. The car only has 300 miles on it, so i dont want to be beating on it already.
But i have ABS, and i know traction control and ABS come together.
Also i just looked at a electronic copy of my window sticker, it has it on there.

very unusual.......is this a gt or v6? the (TCS) is really for bad weather driving...ie,,,,snow,flooding rain, and everything else that you normally won't come across.....i turn my tcs off everytime i get in my gt.....one way to find out is:do a little burnout
. i know your car is new and you probably are still "babying" it, but that should show you two black marks on the street......have fun and find out....i just realized i am writing about positive traction and you want to know about your tcs system,woops.........this might not help, sorry.

I had the same problem with my 07. Go back to the dealer and show it to them. Depending on your dealer, you might have to convince them that the button is supposed to be there by showing them some other cars on the lot. They just forgot to install the button on the assembly line. Dealer can install one in 5 minutes.
Here is the thread for my t/c problems: https://mustangforums.com/m_3960909/tm.htm

no there is no button!!!! lol.
it might be disabled, i did a semi-hard 1-2 shift. It spun a bit and the rear and swung to the right. i dont think it can do that with TC on. BUT in the rain when i gun it, it just wheel hops like a mad-man. Is that normal. This is pissing me off. I might have to do a big smokey burnout tomarrow.

I'm assuming you have a REAL Calif Special and not a poser...
The TCS button should be the first button to the right of the power outlet. I have an EJECT plug in mine but you can see it says TCS on it and it is to the left of the Emergency lights button.
We are supposed to have TCS on all GTs, right?
Any Calif Special owners out there?
Oh, and yes, it's possible to spin the wheels even with TCS on! I punched it one day while making a left turn from a stop at a light and the whole back end got loose and came around! I was like Fists of Fury turning the steering wheel to the right, then left, then right until it calmed down!

no its a real GT/CS. i am gunna go to the dealer today and see how much the button is WITH traction control. I cant see it being more then 50 bucks. Ill just eat the money, instead of bitching and dealing with the salesman. then bringing it back for service just to install a button.
