no its a real GT/CS. i am gunna go to the dealer today and see how much the button is WITH traction control. I cant see it being more then 50 bucks. Ill just eat the money, instead of bitching and dealing with the salesman. then bringing it back for service just to install a button.
Don't do that bro. If it is on your window sticker tell them about it and they will take care of it for you plain and simple. My car was supposed to come with a leather steering wheel but came with the plain one from the V6 instead. I pointed it out and 3 days later I had the leather steering wheel at no cost.

Don't pay twice for something bro!!!

Give me your vin on a pm and I will run an oasis on it.. I can tell you if it was built with it...
then you will have some ammo to go back to the dealer with..
If you have a gt/cs that package is only available with a gt premium which includes tsc/abs as standard items. do you have the message center and the six gauge dash pod?? lastly did you buy the car new?? let meknow I'd be happy to pull an oasis for you.

check the option for TCS. I think it's optional on V-6's. Then go the the dealer who sold you the car and ask for a refund of that amount, plus interest, since you don't have Traction Control!
Then. when they hopefully confirm that you DO actually have it, they should throw in the button for free.
Is there an easy way to see if a Mustang HAS the TCS? Something to look for at the brakes or master cylinder maybe?

The TCS switch is tied into the insturment
cluster then communicates with the PCM
to limit torque while the rear tires are slipping.
Its software, not hardware so its hard to tell
without downloading the program from the PCM
and seeing if the TCS logic is there or not.
In other words, its dealer time to find out.
Or just ground pin 7 to pin 1 on connector
C2039 behind the Hazzard Lights switch and
see if the TCS is then disabled.
If so, the logic is there, just not the actual
TCS switch.

I have a GT/CS too. Nice color choice by the way! I have the TCS button and turn it off on occasion. The dealer should install yours free of charge since it was supposed to come with it.

i have TC and its on and working. A GT/CS is a GT Premium, and all of them have ABS/TC. I can not disable TC because i dont have the switch. Soooo, i got one at my local dealer today for $48.95. The dealer that i got the car from is 40 minutes away. Its not worth my time to drive back, argue, haggle, bitch, complain. then come back for them to put it in.

I am picking it up on tuesday. I will post back when its in. I will still be curious when the correct switch is in. Still breaking the car in. Guess i gatta take her out in the rain and spin em.

There are two switches:

"With ABS" - the one i need
"WIth out ABS" - the one i have now

PS: yes the car is new, i still have the temp tag on it.
