On what color of a GT to get?!

Oh, and how do you feel about Mustang GT's with auto trany's..... I know how to drive a stick but I seriously HATE it.....Is the speed much different in a auto vs a manual?
sorry, i hit ok before i replied to that part. Personally, i don't "feel" autos but it's just a preference. I have more than a million miles driving manual transmission cars and absolutely love em and my kids ( daughters and a son) all drive sticks. Since the speed limit is 70, then no, there isn't any difference in speed, they all break that speed limit. Now is there more loss in HP with an auto; absolutely. Just do a search on these forums for the stock power to the wheels on auto vs manny. That isn't the reason for my choice; it's the ability to downshift and just better control and "feel" of the vehicle.

Get black if:

-You have the time to keep it clean
- Dont mind spending $$ on top quality products to keep swirls to a minimum
- Can provide a place to park that has overhead cover
- Don't mind rock chips, etc. because they will show 1 mile away
- Etc, etc...

Good advice!

"They" as in everyone?

And who wont see me coming in that Windveil Blue until it's too late?
Im confused[]

The auto is excellent with a CAI and Tune.

As for color, black is whatthey will be expecting.

Windveil Blue is the only safe choice, they wont see youcoming until its tooLATE!

Other traffic and potential racing foes, who you can STOMP in races with your stealthy blue color.

+1 on the "Buy black if" post..

Black is an AMAZING color on these cars (any car, really), if it's properly maintained and you keep up on the maintenance. But like previously mentioned, that means spending top $$ on car-care products (I probably go through $500 worth of various product per season - leather cleaner, top conditioner, wax, polish, clay, microfiber, tire wet, detail spray, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc...)

Swirls are VERY hard to keep to a minimum, if you get black, I'd strongly recommend investing in a Porter-Cable.. +1 million on rock chips.. I keep a black sharpie marker in my console because my chin spoiler gets chipped so often.. I had it repainted in the off-season, and something tells me I'll have to have it repainted again next off-season, too..

Yes, it's an ABSOLUTE pain in the *** color, but for those first 15 minutes after you're done detailing it, it's the prettiest thing in the world. Wax 'er up good, and the paint seems like it's a mile thick...

Well the wifes acura and my truck are black and I couldnt see having 3 black vehicles so ended up with Vista Blue. I still prefer black but I think the VB is great on the California Special.

I've always just had this thing for a black car....But on the other hand.. I kinda want something with a little color to it...

Im thinking a White GT, tinted windows, black rims, trunk panel, side louvers, rear window louvers with the center headlights grill wouldnt look so bad.... after I got it lowered of course.

=/
The darker blue & the red catch my eye also....

I WANT ONE OF EACH!!
