Default Steeda Pulleys?

I know this has been talked about a lot, but I can't make my mind up on buying the underdrive pulleys.My main concern is the affect it will have on my a/c, since I live in Georgia(105 degree sumers). I spoke with Seth from Brenspeed and he told me that they won't affect the a/c.....another thing is, i drive only a few miles a day. is this enough to keep a charge? if you have the steeda pulleys and live in a hot climate, please give me your advice on doing this or not. is the install fairly simple and even worth it?

Pulleys won't do much for you, bad or good. Maybe a slight seat-of-thepants feel, but most likely its all in your head. In order to maintain SFI approval, they must be able to dampen the same frequency as the stock crankshaft, and in order to do that then they can't be modified too much....

On the good side, most people report that there are no ill effects on A/C or battery charging. You might have problems with a big stereo system, thats it though. A/C can lag at idle, but any sort speed will turn it fast again and you won't notice a difference.

agreed, as long as you don't have some huge *** sound system it will be ok. I had them on my old 5.0 and never had a problem with the AC or charging. However; I was told my several people not to put anything that would use alot of electrical power, because that would give me problems.

I live in Mississippi and lived in Virginia when I had the car if that gives you an idea of the heat factor.

for THE money I spent on this product and having it installed I was satisfied. These Pulleys get a bad rap. Don't ask me why but they do. I noticed a difference. However you can't use these if you get a supercharger. They do not hurt your car.

They get a bad rap because most people dont feel a difference. I didnt.

On a good note though, I got about a 1/2 mpg better mileage!
