Default GT springs on a v6

would springs form an 05-08 GT fit into an 05 v6? if so would it be worth it to get them? what difference would they make?

I have the steeda sport springs on mine. No difference.. at least for the Steeda. My "drop" was as low as advertised.

Sorry... I just re-read your question.. are you talking about the stock GT springs? If so.. I don't think it would make a difference. If anything, the front might be a little higher.

The gt springs are stiffer to hold the weight of the 4.6 so you wouldnt notice a gain but a higher stance

i belive the rears are the same, but the frontrs are stiffer so the front would sit slightly higher

Does anyone have the actual values for the GT and V6 springs? I am remembering that the GT has an actual front/rear weight distribution a per cent or two different from that of the V6, and not in the direction you would anticipate if the GT springs are stiffer by a significant amount ...

i guess its not worth it then, someone was selling some for 30 bucks so i figured if they would make a difference in handling or anything i would get them but i guess not

I looked and looked for this information, i ended up just going with the FRPP N performance springs for the V6, 1.5" drop and handles great.
