Guys and gals, here are a few new mods I did to the car over the past week: 35% window tint, GT 500 splash guards, and the one I’m most excited about, my 3M custom clear Roush louver panels, and custom CDC clear bra.
Let me start by saying, as with most of us, I’m obsessed with my Stang. For those of you who think this is a ridiculous mod, please look away. For those of you who know me, you know I’m completely obsessed with the 3M clear bra material! I got a set of Roush louvers for Xmas, and recently had them painted. I called Roush to get a second set of install templates, said my originals were damaged during shipping. With this additional set of templates, I made a custom set of templates using cardboard and spray adhesive, the exact size of the louvers. I gave the templates to my 3M guy who made a set of pieces for the rear quarter windows to fit between the louvers and my paint. I took 10K, JK, pics of the CDC chin install and could not for the life of me get a pic that showed any seams, my 3M guys did a phenomenal job. When the louvers are installed, I’ll post finished pics, along with a few interior mods. Thanks!

I think he already installed them they are clear covers look at the first picture very carefully

 

Ok, not sure if you guys know what I'm doin, but this pic may help with the concept. The 3M clear bra material is the exact size of the louver, look at the pic, the louver brackets that attatch with 3M tape will never touch the paint, just the glass #1, and #2 the louver edge and smaller support stems on the underside, will never touch the paint. I'm just waiting another 45min to install the louver, Roush recommends 1 hour, I'm 15min down.

Looks good!! I'm not a big fan of the Roush louvers but they look good on your car!!
