I have had my windows tinted for about 2 months now. You know i had to tint the drivers and passengers side windows just cuz it looks better. I have 4% on the rear windows and 13% on the front 2. I have already gotten 2 fix it tickets. WTF???? Doesnt California Highway Patrol have any thing better to do than roll me for tinted windows????? Have you been rolled?

 

I have 5% on all the windows (nothing on windshield) and have been trouble free so far. Have been pulled over a few times for speeding though.[&:]

 

That's their job. If you don't want to get pulled over then take the tint off.

 

Yeah, but they should be parked on I-5 or 99 busting people doing 90+ MPH rather than busting a guy that has too dark tint. Tint doesn't harm anyone, wreckless driving can.

 

California doesn't have a sense of humor on tinting. They're **** if they can't see you.

 

20% is the magic number imho.
