I'm running the M&H Racemaster 325/45/17 on 17x9's from American Muscle. I havent had a chance to run them yet, but I've seen several times slips from people cutting 1.4x 60's with them. Quite amazing for a radial.

Aren't stock ones 17x8?

On another note, Brenspeed sells a drag tire package especially for the 17x8" rims...find out what tires they use and buy them...since you are speaking that this will be strickly for the track...they should work out just fine...they are actually slicks and not drag radials...
