RE: Verts...
what exx said.
And the soft-top with cloth looks amazing on these cars.
PLUS, you have a convertible; why is the top up on your car? Hard tops and soft tops shouldn't look any different with the top DOWN. ;P

RE: Verts...
The newer hardtop convertibles like the BMW 3, VolvoC70 and Volkswagen EOS look like **** with theugly seam across the middle of the roof.
I love the looks of my cloth softtop. My only complaint is it should fit a little more flush with the car when down. A flaw I can live with. Now that it's warmed up I'll very rarely drive with the top up...

RE: Verts...
Really now...
Unless you live in a climate where the winters are unbareable, why would you want to have to deal with a hard top kit.
I live in Missouri, and we do have winters - my vert manages the cold just fine.
Prior to my GT, I had an 02' BMW 325si Convertable, with the hard top kit. The first few months I screwed with it. But eventually I got to where I never bothered putting it on - so it just hung in the ceiling of my garage for 2 and 1/4 years, untill I sold the car.
Like the poster noted on the top being flush - I agree to an extent, except it still looks pretty damn nice with no boot, unlike most other US Auto convertables. It would have been nice if Ford had designed an autoboot like I had on my BMW. But then, they would have wanted another 2 grand for the car most likely.

There is a boot that you can put on over the conv. top when it's down, it was like a $500 option IIRC. I have it... ??
