Whaaaaaaaa? There's a difference between a "boot" and a tonneau.. The "boot" is the POS fabric thing that was a $500 option from Ford.

The Tonneau is what I have being painted at the body shop right now, it covers the entire back seat. I'll have pics in a few days.

Depending on the one you buy, it'll fit int he back seat/trunk, if it's a two-piece one..

The soft boot is a $160 option from Ford and, IMHO,well worth it. I love mine.

The tonneau cover I was referring to is this one by 3D Carbon:

Looks nice but it's one piece and does not fit in the car when the top is up.

Why do they not make hard top verts?

I'd love to have one but I hate the look of the soft tops D:

One cannot just go to the dealer and get a vert...it takes lots of planning and considerations as to whether or not you have a garage, does it rain a lot, etc, etc....I am happy with mine, although I am in Wetshington state and the last time I had my top down was many months ago. Good news, I dont plan on staying in this state for a long time...

my ex used to always complain about soft top verts. I've had an Audi TT roadster, a few 80's stang verts, and some 2nd gen Eclipse converts. The only current hard top vert I like is the BMW 335ci IMO that thing is hot.

And yes that would make it heavier and defeat the performance of the Stang.

Only $160? My bad.. The car was already on the lot with it, I didn't order it.. I just figured since it was from Ford, it'd be stupid expensive. LOL

I didn't think you were referring to that goofy thing when you said "tonneau cover".. I thought you meant the ones that cover the entire back-seat (which is what I ordered, and am currently suffering through with Cervini's)..

Lots of good replies on this thread already. Here in California it's great having a vert. I drive around with the top down sometimes even during the winter months. And I like the looks of a soft top.

But if you hate the looks of a soft top.................
