I can't exactly recall what I entered for rpms/mile but my dyno tuner DEFINITELY got it wrong. I was 2-5mph off. I had to recalibrate (hence a new tune) which really pissed me off.

I'll have to check what I have in my canned SCT tune for revolutions per mile...

Wrong. smaller tire= faster rotation= speedo will read faster. Your so concerned with everyones spelling that you overlooked common sense.
That's not whatI meant.If you drive at 60mph by the speedo you'll actually be travelling slower because you have smaller wheels !

I dont think 1mpg will kill ya though...I have heavy *** 20's and I still get 20+mpg if I dont play too much

a heavier wheel has more interia, and because of that more interia gets lost to wind resistance and road resistance as a percentage. If the wheel has more energy in it at speed, it will proprtionally lose that energy at speed, not gain it at all.

Also the distance the weight is from the center plays a huge part, really the little things add up here. 1mpg isn't bad.

Man it has been a long day...when I first read what you wrote, I thought you said heavier wheels have more interior LMAO...I need sleep...I realize now you meant inertia haha [sm=bangbang.gif]
