OK, here is a pic...



The trunk light is off and it is completely dark in the garage. It must be a problem with the circuit board.

What do you think?

I work with high intensity LEDs at work.

Could be that whatever device they are using to turn them on and off is letting just a small amount of current through even when they are supposed to be off. It's called leakage current. It's generally only a few microamps (0.000001 amps) though so it shouldn't drain your battery any worse than the
car does on it's own...

Update - The LED 3rd Brake Light does not work correctly on the 2008s. American Muscle has added this correction to their product page.

I wonder why Ford changed something with the 3rd brake light in the 2008s?
