RE: 4 more days till 525HP!! WOOOOOO
How is it that the tranny can handle that? All of our discussions have centered around 450hp being the most through the manual tranny and 400-425hp. This sc has a top-end that is 525+, but it is my guess that it is capable of that only with forged internals to handle it. Either that or tests have shown the motor to be more reliable with more hp/tq than was originally thought. My guess is the former.

I am still only interested in the twin screw, but am interested in exactly what the testing on the new 3v motor has shown; at least to the ProCharger folks. That information will help me to decide on the size of the pulley for the Saleen Series VI sc. I don't want to go forged internals right now, but do want to be able to save up for the Series VI without having to worry about forged internals, upgraded Tremec tranny, etc.

I dont think procharger will release a kit that will blow up the mustang. This kit was made to be on a stock car.. no forged internals no magic gas. I'm sure they stepped on it and pushed it for a few months and did tons of tests. From what I have been hearing procharger is the way to go.. but I would like info on the Kenny bell SC too..

I don't think KB is out yet. As for the hp gains, they are saying what the sc is capable of, not what a stock motor can handle. From what I have read, sc's almost always display what they are capable of, which is always higher than the motor can take. The Whipple sc has a sc that is out now for the manual and one coming out in a few months for the auto. Both make 430 and 400 hp, respectively. However, change the pulley and the output can be increased significantly. Whipple does not recommend such things without modifications to the tranny and internals. This was from Dustin Whipple himself.
