The idea is all right but I agree with most everyone else, its too big and will become a problem if the airbag goes off

I'm sorry but thats the worst logic. You should plan for the worst especially when it has to do with others safety. Who knows what would happen when the airbag goes off but who wants to take the chance in the first place?

My wife wanted the emblem on the dash, she likes it so I am fine with that. I thought long and hard about putting the emblem in the spot it is in. I only adhered it to the top panel so "if" the bag were to deploy I doubt the emblem will go flying since it will stay on the top panel and go upward. I have worked in the automotive industy all of my life, seen many airbag demonstrations while working for Ford.

BTW peoples personal prefences and opinions are all part of living in the free world! We are all here because we love the same type of car, we cannot all share the same personal tastes as others!

Mine is from the fox body dash.
Small and less threatening I guess.
